After downloading SQLinFormDesktop.zip, right-click the ZIP file → Properties → check „Unblock“ → OK. Then extract the contents.

The ZIP contains two installation options:

Option 1: Setup Installer (Recommended)

Run SQLinFormDesktop_Setup_x.x.x.x.exe to install the application.

The installer will:

  • Create a desktop shortcut
  • Add a Start Menu entry
  • Set up the application in a portable folder (not in Program Files)

All settings are stored in the installation folder, so you can easily backup or move the entire folder.

Option 2: Portable Copy

Copy the SQLinFormDesktop folder to any location of your choice (e.g., USB drive, cloud folder, or any directory).

Run SQLinFormDesktop.exe directly from that folder – no installation required.

This option is ideal for:

  • USB stick usage
  • Restricted environments without admin rights
