Test command line..?

Hello,

I am currently testing solutions to format PL/SQL code before people upload the source files into out SVN repository (to make version comparison more simple and less dependent from programmers "style") but before that i need to process in batch all current sources for a "initial svn check-in". Is there any place where i can download a command line test "jar" in order to check if it work's for our needs? I downloaded the desktop version and it works ok for one file (well, it failed to process a 20k line code package body, but that was a memory related issue), but i need to test this other feature and even better, integrate it to ANT or MAVEN.

Finally, is there a command-line only license or maybe a command-line+API?

Hi Roja,
thanks for your message. If the free online version is OK for you then you do not need the desktop version. If you want the command line version, you can see more details here API & command line version. .

Hi Guido,
The command line is very useful. What ptellez is saying he want to automate the work using ant. I would like to do something similar. I am not interested with API because I am working with Oracle tools like Toad and PL/SQL Developer having integrated code formatters. The only advantage is that with the command line formatter I can automate the work and integrate the process with other services in a batch process. If I am to use desktop version it does not make any different to me to use free online version.

Hi Dominic,
thanks for your message.
The command line version is not part of the desktop version. <s>I stopped offering the command line 1 week ago</s>. The page is still there API & command line version.
I think you do not need the command line. Working with the system tray is also very easy!
I am not interested in the API but being able to set it up with my editor would be necessary to justify a purchase.
