Thank you so much for this tweak!

Just in case anyone is still puzzling about where to place the additional line, these are the bottom few lines of the file I have, after editing:

Quote

permission java.util.PropertyPermission "java.vm.version", "read";

permission java.util.PropertyPermission "java.vm.name", "read";
permission java.awt.AWTPermission "accessClipboard";
};

(All the lines begining with 'permission' have a tab indentation at the start but that doesn't show up here.)

It is much easier to do the edit with WordPad, which preserves the formating, rather than NotePad and, of course, it is a *very* good idea to do a backup copy of the file before doing the edit.

Dynamic sql does not work

Formatting dynamic sql doesn't work with embedded single quotes

Unformatted: SELECT 'str' AS [Value]
Expected: SELECT @sql=N'SELECT ''str'' AS [Value]'
sqlinform: SELECT @sql=N'SELECT 'str' AS [Value]'

It also doesn't work the other way

Unformatted: SELECT @sql='SELECT ''str'' AS [Value]'
Expected: SELECT 'str' AS [Value]
sqlinform: SELECT str AS [Value]

Hi there Sorry to seem dumb, but I am trying to figure out how to make this work.

Problem is I'm not sure if I'm supposed to just leave the file in User/Mike or if its supposed to go in User/Mike/(a folder)

Also I'm not sure if I'm putting the line in the right place. Is there a space before or after the "permission java.awt.AWTPermission "accessClipboard"; "?

Would really help if someone could post they linn before and after "permission java.awt.AWTPermission "accessClipboard"; " so I can see precisly where it goes as none of this worked for me. :(

many thanks for your feedback. I can see the reason for your suggestion but I do not know (yet) how to implement it, because there might be many functions which do not want/need a linebreal after/before a comma. Other function might need a line break. I can not see a general rule for this option. Do you have any idea?

With online version 4.8.49 the colors have been adapted for Mac OS X and the menus have been re-arranged to make them all visible.

Which makes to overall length of the code a bit longer but more readable in my opinion; long lines are harder to follow with your eyes.

or 2) before the THEN in IF-THEN-ELSE conditions or CASE statements (there's an option to insert a break for the THEN keyword in CASE statements, but it does not seem to do anything?)

Hi,
I just purchased the desktop version and I have the same menu visibility issues - in fact, I could not find the option to save the Standard Options until I accidentally clicked on the (invisible) 'Options' menu item :)
So if you like I could help you test this issue as well.

Incidentally, I've also developed some Java desktop programs and if you want I could help you package the program for deployment on mac OSX so that it has a proper scaling Dock icon etc.

Yes. The only options checked under For Conditions are After AND/OR and Indent conditions in brackets. If you like I can send you the configuration file I am using.

did you de-select the option to have linebreaks before condition brackrts? If yes, then ther are 2 options clashing, i.e. the bracket option and the AND/OR option. The bracket option wins.

In snippet of code below I expected "floor(price.col1)" to be formatted so that it becomes FLOOR(price.col1) without having to go to the "Upper and Lower" table and adding "@FLOOR@

I have noticed that the "Linebreaks after AND/OR" option does not seem to work, at least not with the options I have selected. Linebreaks before AND/OR seems to work fine. I am using the desktop edition, input SQL is 'Any SQL', output SQL is VB String(2). Example from MS Access:

The online version has the same font rendering problem as of today (05-Mar-2012), when viewing on Mac OS X 10.7.3, with safari 5.1.3
